School for Startups is coming to Glasgow on the 10th and 11th of December to help budding entrepreneurs develop the skills needed to improve their chances of success.

DAY ONE 10th Dec - 8am to 7pm

“How to start a new business”

Day one takes you through a logical, carefully constructed model to question whether your business idea is a potential winner. This day is a repeat of the School for Startups, 28th October 2008 in Edinburgh.

DAY TWO 11th Dec - 8am to 7pm

“Entrepreneurial Economics”

Day two takes you through a logical, carefully constructed model to question whether your business has the capital strategy to survive and thrive.

COST:

The School for Startups price is £94 for each day. Those we ask to pay include:

  • Companies with more than 250 employees and/or a turnover in excess of 50M Euros;
  • Professional Services;
  • Government;
  • Academics*;
  • Anyone who does not live/work in Scotland.

ELIGIBILITY FOR A FREE PLACE

You must be actively pursuing a business, entrepreneurial venture or project and you MUST complete in as much detail as possible the registration questions on:

  • MOTIVATION for attending the School for Startups
  • DESCRIBE: your business, entrepreneurial venture or project
  • TELL US: what your expectations and what  you want to get out of the day(s)

NOT MUCH TO ASK, FOR A VALUABLE DAY OR TWO!

Doug Richard Limited and Informatics Ventures reserve the right to review and cancel free registrations that do not satisfy our criteria.

* Academics working on Scottish Enterprise Proof of Concept projects, SE/RSE Enterprise Fellowships and other commercial projects ARE eligible for a FREE place.
